Cat & the Bird

Tracing

White Pencil: the folding line & the contours of the card
Tinta Gold: the scallops along the border
Tinta White: the rest of the decorations along the border

Painting

Pintura White+ Black (mix to grey): the cat’s fur, first make a layer of fine lines with a light grey mixture, then a layer with dark grey mixture
Pintura Black: the cat’s nose, eyes, whiskers, eyebrows & mouth & the bird’s eye & the contours of the beak
Pintura Red: the cat’s collar & tongue
Pintura Skin: the inside of the cat’s ears & the snout
Pintura White: the white of the eyes & the highlights in the pupils
Pintura Light Green+ Green+ Brown: the leaves
Pintura Brown: the stalks, lines on the ground
Pintura Cinnamon:+Brown: the bird’s wings & head
Pintura Orange: the bird’s breast
Tinta White: the bird’s belly

Dorsing

On the reverse side: Dorso Green + a bit of Brown: the ground below the cat

Perforating

Perforate with the 3 needle tool as shown in the pattern

Embossing

With the large & small ball embossing tool: the cat’s snout & the circles in the border. With the stylus: emboss little circles around the perforation of the 3 needle perforating tool, emboss the folding line

Finishing off

Fold the card and cut out the card with fancy shears
